1.1 Server List We currently run 2 TF2 servers, TRY THEM ALL!
tf2.joe.to - All challenge maps, all the time, Friendly Fire is OFF
tf4.joe.to - Many Custom Maps, *** Friendly Fire is ENABLED ***
1.2 Administrators
The administrators on the TF2 servers have final say on all matters while on the TF2 server. If you disagree with an action an admin has taken, DO NOT ARGUE ON THE SERVER! Come to the forums and either post in the TF2 forums or send a private message to DrunkCowOfDeath, bl4nk, Spazmeister, or Avvatar.
1.2.1 Admin Groups
The administrators for the TF2 servers comes in 3 flavors. Those flavors are listed below:
Senior Staff
Full Admin
Trial Admin
1.2.2 Admin Group List
Senior Staff
The Senior Staff are responsible for keeping the server running. They handle all server changes, admin hiring/firing issues, and resolve all player problems. These guys are the reason the TF2 servers are up and running. The Senior Staff for the joe.to TF2 servers can be viewed by clicking here.
Full Admin
The Full Admin are responsible for maintaining the server in game. These are the guys that police the population, resolve in game problems, and assist the Senior Staff. The Full Admin have the complete support of the Senior Staff. Any problems with the Full Admin need to be brought up to the Senior Staff. Trial Admin
Trial admin are those individuals who aspire to become Full Admin. They have many of the powers of the Full Admin and they have the same authority. Any problems with the trial admin need to be brough up to the Senior Staff immediately. The Trial Admin for the joe.to TF2 servers can be viewed by clicking here.
1.2.3 Finding an Admin
If you need an ADMIN for any reason you should:
1. Ask on the Server.
Admin will identify themselves when asked.
2. Ask on IRC - #joe.to @ irc.gamesurge.net
Many of the admin idle in IRC on a regular basis. When using IRC to contact an admin, say the server you are on, the player causing the trouble, and the problem. Once you have done that, stay in IRC.

1.2.4 If you can't find an admin in game or in IRC
Post on the forums citing as much information as possible. Include the player name, STEAM_ID, the Date and Time with a timezone, and what was happening. The Senior Staff can resolve most situations without having to enter the server.
1.2.5 Applying for Admin
We are ALWAYS looking for qualified individuals to add to our admin roster. This is done 2 ways.
1. We hand pick exceptional players who display all the qualities we want in an admin.
2. We frequently hold admin application drives. Anyone who wish can apply as an admin during this time period. Watch the TF2 forums for more information on our next Admin application drive.
- Note: We will always accept well thought out and coherent applications for admin. Well thought out and coherent means that we can read and understand everything in your application. Leet speak and lack of grammar skills will probably be ignored.
1.3 Reserve Slots
Reserve slots allow players to connect to a full server and play even though space is not available. This is a perk we offer to regular players on our server to allow them to join at any time and keep the skill and fun levels high. Reserve slots are available to anyone who requests one and who is in good standing with the community. That means you haven't pissed off the admin, and you haven't been previously banned.
Reserve slots do not give you special privledges or rights over any other users on our servers. In fact, as a holder of a reserve slot, you are expected to know and follow the rules as well as assist the admin in identifying problems.
If you break a rule as a res slot holder, you will generally be issued a harsher punishment than the general population. It is expected that the reserve slot holders know and understand the rules before receiving a res slot.

2.0 Server Rules
Below are the server rules for the joe.to TF2 servers. These rules apply to anyone who logs into the server. Following each rules is a quick explanation.

1. We are here to have fun. If at any time you are ruining the fun, you will be dealt with.
Ruining the fun includes: cheating, exploiting, bad sportsmanship, spamming, being a jerk, and anything else that makes people leave the server. You will be banned extremely fast for running off the playerbase. If you fail to remember anything else about the rules, remember this. It is the cornerstone for everything joe.to.

2. Control yourself when communicating with the players on the server and refrain from spamming voice or chat. There are many younger players that frequent our servers. Be respectful when you choose to speak.
Yes, children play on our servers. When you choose to speak on our server don’t use bigot remarks. We allow swearing, but there is a limit. Don’t bother spamming crap on our server either. We will not tolerate spamming.

3. If you discover a bug or exploit when playing on our servers, please report it. If you are caught using the exploit, we will ban you from the server and fix it.
This is a very simple rule. Tell us when you find a bug or exploit. We will fix it and move on. If we can’t fix it, we will remove the map.
Quote: 4. Listen to the admin on the server, and follow their instructions. They are there to ensure the server remains fun.
Just do what the admin say. If they are wrong, bring it up to the Senior Staff on the forums. Don’t argue on the server. Remember that admin volunteer their time to police the server while you are playing on it. Failing to do what the admin say means you are ruining their fun. See rule #1.

This is one of our more serious rules. Impersonating an admin can cause unnecessary grief and confusion. It will NOT be tolerated.

6. Any pornographic sprays must be tasteful.
A general rule of thumb is any spray that is child pornography, bestiality, hardcore pornography or is a shock picture will be removed and the appropriate punishment will be given. Softcore sprays are allowed but if you think it may be offensive, then you are better off not spraying it.

We are not on the server playing to listen to all your comments and suggestions for the server. We are there to have fun. Use the forums for that kind of stuff.
3.0 Server Information
The joe.to TF2 servers are hosted on an old 386SX desktop computer powered by 2 hamsters taking turns running in their wheel, as much RAM as what is in my digital watch, and connects to the internet via 2 cups and a string, which resides on a 2400 baud backbone for maximum performance. The server is currently located in Bumfuq, Egypt and is frequently subjected to high temperatures and wind storms.
